The Morro Bay Airgunners are a group of airgun enthusiasts that belong to the San Luis Smallbore Association. We host and promote airgun matches at the club range. Monthly matches are held on the 3rd Sunday of most months. The general public is welcome to participate and new competitors will be offered assistance while learning the game:

8am - registration opens
8-9am - site-in lanes open (register first)
9am - shooters meeting
9:20-12noon - match

Competitors use .177 through .22 caliber scoped airguns (pellet guns) to shoot at resettable silhouette targets in a field type situation. The targets are all at unknown distances from 10 to 55 yards. Estimating the target distance is a critical part of the game, as well as knowing your rifles holdover at all distances. You will be squaded with another shooter and move through the lanes of play together. You must shoot the pellet through the hole on the target faceplate for the target to fall. One point for a knockdown, zero if it does not fall. Beginning competitors are usually able to knock down a few targets and experienced shooters rarely knock them all down. As long as your rifle is under 20fpe, you can shoot it in one of the classes.

Entry fee: $10
