The range is starting to show a little green from the recent rains. We started the match with temperatures of about 65 degrees and typical coastal winds of 0-12mph from the NorthWest. Before the match was over, winds were coming predominately from the East. Warm winds of 22mph and 80 degrees. Unusual, hard to predict, and hard to deal with. Alan shot a great PCP score of 43/48. The battle of the Diana piston guns continued as Jeff showed up with a new Diana 34p to match mine. I got an early lead over Jeff by a couple of points. Then the wind started kicking in. Jeff and I both tried waiting for lulls in the wind before taking our shots. The winds seemed to cooperate more with Jeff and he soon overtook me with some fine shooting. He clinched the piston win on his last shot with a 55 yard hit on the windiest part of the course.
